The DLR 24/xx-466 Series transistor speed controller is a load-independent 4Q speed controller for brushed DC motors. This controller enables stepless speed control in clockwise and counterclockwise rotation up to a maximum motor current of 10A. The input voltage range is 10 – 36V DC, optionally up to 48V DC. Stepless speed control can be realized either via an internal or external potentiometer or an external reference voltage of 0 – 5V DC or 0 – 10V DC. The motor power can be steplessly limited using an internal potentiometer as overload protection.


  • High pulse frequency of approx. 23 kHz allows for a quiet operation
  • Speed specification via 0 – 5V DC or 0 – 10V DC interface or potentiometer (external/internal)
  • Controller enable – input for activating the output stage (one input per direction)
  • Motor overload protection through internally adjustable current limitation
  • Acceleration/deceleration ramps adjustable via internal DIP switch, blocking protection can be activated via internal DIP switch
  • Controller/setpoint releases can be inverted via internal DIP switch
  • 8-bit processor
  • Speed control range 1:30 with EMF and IxR compensation, 1:500 with encoder
  • EMK feedback system with I×R compensation (or encoder)
