UNIVER’s innovative design for the gate valve system gives this system a range of extremely useful features. The valve consists of only two parts, body and spindle (in one single part); it has adaptable seals (to prevent sticking) with a high wear resistance, made of a special compounds. Other features include a high flow rate and two chambers that are not in contact with each other during temporary switching (positive overlap); this eliminates the need for lubrication, makes it easier to maintain and allows a considerable number of switching operations. However, this valve is not only suitable for the usual range of applications for the gate valve system, but also for vacuum applications for use as a 5/3-way middle position open or 5/3-way middle position closed.
