Cylinder with pneumatically releasable hydraulic lock
This cylinder is used to move a working platform into the desired position and to block it there against all external forces. The extension movement takes place by pressurising the integrated pressure medium converter. In the desired end position, a spring-loaded locking piston blocks the oil connection so that the cylinder is fixed. Tensile and compressive forces of up to 50 KN can be held. The cylinder is retracted pneumatically.
