This unit supplies a portal measuring machine with ultra-fine filtered compressed air via 5 regulated outlets. The main task is to supply the drives for the individual axles, as well as the supply for the machine’s air bearings. Various versions of the machine are also supplied with lifting windows and loading units.

The most important criterion was to ensure the pressure supply to the air bearings, as the granite table would be damaged if the pressure dropped during operation. The minimum pressure for the air bearing supply is therefore constantly monitored via a special pressure switch with very low hysteresis and the machine is switched off if the pressure drops. The filters were deliberately oversized and the holes in the aluminum manifold were made correspondingly large to compensate for pressure fluctuations in the pressure supply.

At the same time, the distributor serves as a label carrier on which the symbols of all individual components are engraved for exact documentation.

The unit is 100% tested by us for function and tightness and delivered to the customer in special individual packaging.
