The GS 24 S/xx-360 Series transistor speed controllers are low-cost compact devices measuring 72 x 100 mm for stepless speed control of any brushed DC motors in the low-voltage range up to max. 10 A motor current. The input voltage range is 20 to 36 V DC, making battery operation possible, e.g. from an on-board electrical supply system or through SNT 24/xx Series mains adapters connected upstream. Stepless speed control can be realized either via an internal/external potentiometer or an external reference voltage 0….10 V DC. An internal potentiometer acts as an overload protection by providing a continuously variable motor current limitation.

The additional circuit board 393 provides the facility to change the direction of rotation of a permanent magnet motor with a transistor chopper controller type GS 24 S/xx-360 under low voltage of 12 to 48V DV and a nominal current of max. 10 A. The direction of rotation, clockwise or counterclockwise, can be pre-selected during standstill via a 12 V to 48 V DC control signal.
